Have you ever wondered what those voluptuous pinups from the fifties and sixties would look like to day. So have I, so in order to find out, I painted a series of mature pinups in watercolour. These are among the pinups you'll find here. The originals are all 29,7 x 42 cm.

Memoirs of a Twenty Century Rake is a rather large comic project that I have just started to transfer to web. The series will be rebuild totally to fit the screen format. This means I have to start from scratch using the sketches, not the finished originals for print.

Hard work, but the drawings will appear larger on web than they did in print, so its worth it. Memoirs of a Twenty Century Rake also contain a lot of single images with texts at the bottom. Both these features are done with pencils, the single images with a slight colour tint done digitaly after scanning, the series done in pure linework.
