Paragon Past Paraphernalia

The special features on Paragon Past Paraphernalia will contain images from my own privat collection of erotica and glamour magazines and books. The publish date on these range from 1910 to 1980.

I came across this beautiful series of hand coloured photos from the Swedish magazine "Kavakad". Take your time with these,, the hand colouring is masterly done. The images are from the last part of the fifties.

Cocktail is a Norwegian erotic magazine that was started in the early 50s and it is still around to day.

This special feature on Paragon Past Paraphernalia will show the covers and images from Cocktail's 1956 volume, 26 magazines all told.

These ads. 90 in all is also a part of my good friend Bwaanaman's "Fifties Folly" on his marvelous "Bwaanaman's World".

This feature will contain the images from "Die Schönheit des weiblichen Körpers" by Prof Dr. C. H. Stratz published by Ferdinand Enke in 1920 in Stuttgart. In English the title would go something like "The Beauty of the Female Body"

The book is suposedly for art students and the likes, but I strongly suspect that was just an excuse for filling a book with images of naked women.

The book is one of many such in my possesion :-)
