June Wilkinson was born in Eastbourne, England on March 27, 1940. She came to the US at age seventeen, already an experienced actress and figure model, having posed nude at age fifteen.

She called Hugh Hefner after seeing a copy of Playboy, and soon appeared in a September 1958 layout. She made a second appearance in August of 1959 and was featured in many "best of" issues, making a total of 7 Playboy appearances.

Her 43-23-37 figure made her an instant success as a figure and cheesecake model, and "The Bosom," as Hef called her, soon became the most photographed woman in the world. The beautiful June now resides in Glendale, California.
