Maxima by Jerry Ashelon

One of my favourite models from Met, coinicidentaly with the same name as my all time fav, is Inna ( Inna B as I refer to her ). Her petite body and perfect skin has provided many a fantastic picture and the great movie "Blonde Provocation".

With this set, Ashelon (the photographer who recently gave us the lovely "Odalisques" series among others including true classics "Ballerina" and "Boudoir" and working with some of the most popular models such as Barberella and Misha and my girl Inna ) has provided us with another fantastic and romantic set which is indicative of all his work. This is an intimate shoot, Inna revealed as the graceful creature that she is, the soft light reflecting of her slender figure as she appears to relax and flow through the shoot. The innocence such photography, Met's major drawing card, is hardly better expressed in this set, with no pouting and over acted posing, and a low level of explicity creates some classic images.

Every shot is balanced, with the eye being drawn exactly where it should be. The placement of clothing and even her hair appears to be though out and planned, though ending with a natural looking result.

The lighting is a bit easier on the eye than in "Odalisques" though not as warm, however considering the model, I think he has gotten it right. As long as this man keeps working, I will be very happy.

A great shoot, a beautiful girl, you can expect more of this on here at the Temple in the near future.

"The work of J. Ashelon may remind us of Vermeer, but it’s going to remind you of even more. It’s going to remind you of these fantasies you have had, but haven’t quite been able to grasp. Ashelon looks into your dreams, pulls out your finest visions, and puts them on the screen. Who could ask for more?" - Met Mag
